The 蘑菇影视 Schuster Program for the Arts is proud to present the Schuster Re-Grant Initiative, which supports regional nonprofit organizations through youth-based arts projects. The total award amount is $10,000, which will be distributed among recipients at the discretion of the selection committee.

Awards are selected by a committee composed of the co-director of the School of Communication and the Arts, the Schuster Arts and Media Manager, and two Schuster Patron of the Arts Scholarship recipients. The initiative is facilitated by Megan Woller, co-director of the School of Communication and the Arts.

Woller said the program offers multiple levels of engagement, giving Gannon students the opportunity to learn about community arts programs and work with faculty and staff to see how grants are presented and awarded. The Re-Grant Initiative has supported numerous projects over the decades and demonstrates Gannon’s commitment to the Erie community.

Previous Schuster Re-Grant-funded projects include the Inner-City Neighborhood Art House’s Fiber Arts and Wearable Arts Project, which incorporated ice-dyeing, relief printing and weaving.

This year’s application cycle opens March 2 and closes March 31.

Interested applicants may email Megan Woller at woller001@gannon.edu with questions. Applications should be submitted through .
